An unusual wattle that occurs naturally in small pockets along the great dividing range.Leaves are grey to bluish and glaucous. Usually found in open forests on rocky sites. Flowers are bright golden yellow which stand out beautifully against the neutral grey leaves. A dense and often rounded shrub.
