Acacia obliquinervia

Mountain hickory wattle

3-15m high

Densely foliaged shrub with greyish leaves and smooth grey bark. My favourite local wattle. Common in forests of the southern tablelands between altitudes of 500m and 1700 m. Leaves are a uniquely curved shape unlike any other local wattle. Bright yellow flowers standout well against the grey foliage. Needs reasonable moisture to thrive.
